Hello there,
I’m Liz, the owner and founder of Dolli-Mixtures Keepsakes.

After practicing as a nurse for 44 years, much of which has been spent working in cardio-thoracic, intensive care and more recently in palliative care, I have now retired and am now enjoying my long term passion for sewing and creating meaningful handcrafted keepsakes and memory items.

I’m also a proud mum of two wonderful daughters, and my journey into keepsake-making began as a simple hobby. I started by making dolls, and soon family and friends were asking for memory bears and other personalised items. I realised just how special these keepsakes were to people, especially those wanting to remember a loved one.

Why Keepsakes?

Do you have cherished clothing tucked away — in the loft, on top of the wardrobe, or under the bed? You might not look at it often, but each piece tells a story. It could be clothing from someone you’ve lost, or the tiny outfits your children wore as babies. These items carry memories that deserve to be seen, held, and cherished — not forgotten in storage.

What I Do?

I transform sentimental clothing into beautiful, bespoke keepsake items. Whether it’s a baby grow, a favourite jumper or a shirt that reminds you of someone special. I predominately create bears in various styles and sizes and they are my most popular item. I also offer other animals so please ask if you have a specific request, I’ll do all I can to help. My Instagram and Facebook business pages show other animals I have made.

Each piece is made with care, compassion, and attention to detail - preserving the memories that matter most.
